Features our "touch only" ADA/InvisiTouch™ font. This invisible braille/tactile sign covers all ADA requirements for braille and tactile signage. Ships with an optically clear VHB adhesive backing for easy install. Use the quantity field to let us know how many signs you are ordering.
Once installed, you are free to get creative with the visual sign (also required). The visual sign can be traditional in style, super modern or anything in between.
The point of having a separate visual sign is to maximize its readability for people with reduced vision, so characters should be larger and bolder than the minimum. There is no point in separating the messages if they are the same size as the tactile characters. Think big! Many people with low vision prefer upper and lower case, which is legal for visual signs. The most important rules have to do with high contrast and non-glare finishes for the message area. Decorative areas of the visual sign are where the designer can feature low contrast or metallic materials with reflection or glare.
