Features our "touch only" ADA/InvisiTouch™ font. This invisible braille/tactile sign covers all ADA requirements for braille and tactile signage. Ships with an optically clear VHB adhesive backing for easy install. Use the quantity field to let us know how many numbers you are ordering, then let us know which numbers you need in the "Room Numbers" field. For duplicate numbers, just write the numbers as many times as needed (201, 201, 201 etc).
Sorry, letters or punctuation such as dashes or periods are currently non-standard and considered custom. (Order custom signs here)
Now you are free to get creative with the required visual companion sign. The visual companion sign can be the traditional dimensional unit numbers seen in many apartment buildings and hotels, super modern digital door graphics or anything in between.
Think big! The point of having a separate visual companion sign is to maximize its readability for people with reduced vision, so characters should be larger and bolder than the minimum. There is no point in separating the messages if they are the same size as the tactile characters.
Many people with low vision prefer upper and lower case, which is legal for visual signs. The most important rules have to do with high contrast and non-glare finishes for the message area. Decorative areas of the visual sign are where the designer can feature low contrast or metallic materials with reflection or glare.
